Abstract

The objective of this research study was to examine greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from facultative sludge lagoons and oxidative ponds through direct measurement of CH4 flux from these systems under operating conditions. The report summarizes and documents the research methodology, data collection effort, and results from the work conducted under this study in order to provide a better understanding of the wastewater treatment industry’s GHG emissions.
