Chief Executive Officer
Peter has over 30 years of experience leading the implementation of public health and environmental protection programs, with significant focus on the water sector. Peter is leading the Foundation in delivering world-class research and innovation to drive integrated water resources management.
Tania Haskins
Chief Operating Officer
Tania has 20 years of experience in nonprofit accounting and operations. She oversees the Finance and Administrative operations of WRF, including Finance & Accounting, IT, Contracting, Human Resources, and Grant Compliance.
Kenan Ozekin, PhD
Chief Research Officer
Dr. Ozekin has over 25 years of experience and has managed over 150 projects worth over 60 million dollars in research value, including several large grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Defense. He works with water utility professionals to identify, plan, and execute research on various topics such as water treatment, reuse, climate change, and PFAS.
Lexie Vean
Chief Communications and Engagement Officer
Lexie has over 20 years of marketing, communications, and public relations experience in the nonprofit sector. She directs outreach efforts aimed at promoting WRF as the global leader of scientifically sound research and innovation to support WRF subscribers and the water sector.

Regional Liaisons (RLs) serve as the primary points of contact for subscribers to The Water Research Foundation, providing personalized service to ensure you get the answers you need, have access to our research and innovation resources, and gain input into research planning.
Research Services
The Research Services team is comprised of Research Program Managers and Project Coordinators, who work together on research planning and project management to deliver the most relevant and innovative research in the water sector—all in pursuit of protecting public health and the environment.
