Validation and Site-Specific Action Spectra Correction Factors for Medium Pressure Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems

The goal of this project was to develop a set of action spectra correction factors, using specific medium-pressure (MP) UV reactors and their associated validation conditions, that will allow utilities to continue to use these UV systems to confidently achieve regulatory credit for pathogen disinfection. The models and analysis developed are also applicable to other utilities that employ similar MP UV reactor systems.
