Abstract

Develops technologies and operational strategies that can be implemented to prevent the release of arsenic in finished water due to unintentional pH variation during treatment. Provides a basis for utilities to evaluate techniques to meet the arsenic regulatory limit in treated water. Also considers water treatment cost, risk of system failure, residual management issues, and operational requirements for various types of arsenic treatment systems. Research partner: AWTP.
