Abstract

Investigates techniques that could be used to continuously monitor the structural performance (e.g., strain, water pressure and temperature, pipe or soil movement, soil pressure on pipe, soil pH, soil resistivity, redox potential, joint integrity, pipe cracking) of potable water distribution systems, primarily large-diameter mains and critical water mains.
