Abstract

This project evaluated the efficacy, design, and cost implications of using GAC to remove precursors and pre-formed halogenated and non-halogenated C- and N-DBPs of concern in order to provide utilities, regulators, and consultants with a better understanding of the implications of GAC use for the control of regulated and emerging DBPs. Research partner: American Water Works Association. Published in 2019.
