Abstract

This project performed technical work in support of establishing guidelines for renewal of prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) using internally applied carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP). The project investigated factors that should be considered when preparing, designing, testing, and performing CFRP renewal work. The project also provided technical information to AWWA that could be used in setting standards for CFRP renewal of PCCP pipelines. Research partners: EPA and WERF. Published in 2013.
