Beneficial and Nontraditional Uses of Concentrate

Abstract

Provides a comprehensive review and comparison of the full range of alternate uses of concentrate and assesses the feasibility of implementation, economic considerations, and environmental safety. Also evaluates both direct uses of concentrate and the potential for recovery and marketing of individual salts separated from concentrate. Research partner: U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Published by WateReuse Foundation in 2006.

This study was a originally funded in cooperation with WateReuse Foundation as Desal-02-06b and with WERF as 03-CTS-17bCO and was managed by Joshua Dickinson, Jeff Moeller, and Jennifer Warner.
