Abstract
This study built upon existing research to identify and further test sustainable, cost-effective treatment options for removal of hexavalent chromium. The project determined the effectiveness of potential single-pass technologies for removal of hexavalent chromium and co-occurring contaminants on different water qualities, assessed the operational requirements of the treatment options, and identified costs of treatment for these new approaches. Tailored collaboration partners: Glendale Water & Power and California Water Service Company. Published in 2015.
