Abstract

This project researched and documented alternative waste minimization techniques that can be implemented at Cr(VI) treatment facilities employing any of the three major treatment technologies (disposable Weak Base Anion [WBA] resin; regenerable Strong Base Anion [SBA] resin; or reduction, coagulation, filtration [RCF]). The final report provides water utilities with a roadmap for selecting the appropriate waste minimization technique based on their water quality and site conditions. Published in 2017.
