Analysis and Fate of Polymers in Wastewater Treatment
$0
Abstract
This report addresses the impact and fate of polymers, the organic polyelectrolytes used as flocculant agents in wastewater treatment. These additives can improve the performance of sedimentation, thickening, and dewatering processes. Learn how to evaluate when polymer release to the environment may be harmful. In addition to presenting economic incentives for watchful control of polymer use, the report stresses the need for accurate dosage of chemical additives to wastewater treatment processes.
