Abstract
Investigates two innovative treatment methods for the control of earthy-musty odors associated with the presence of 2-methylisoborneol (MIB) and geosmin in drinking water: an adsorption-reaction process based on the use of high-silica zeolites and an adsorption-oxidation process based on the combined use of high-silica zeolites and ozone (zeolite-enhanced ozonation).
