Investigates emerging methods to oxidize As(III) to As(V) for arsenic removal such as solid-phase media or UV/photo-oxidation. Also determines whether the addition of chemicals such as iron or sulfur enhances these processes. Research partners: USEPA and ACWA. Published in 2005.
