Abstract

Gathers and evaluates data to assist in determining Groundwater Under Direct Influence (GWUDI) for the unique characteristics associated with limestone aquifers. Investigates the concept of natural filtration and evaluate the importance of average travel time for protection against GWUDI. Develops a protocol defining the specific methodology for making a GWUDI determination. Tailored Collaboration partners: Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, Palm Beach County (Fla.)
