Abstract

Determines, by means of pilot-plant testing, the practical viability of a counter current packed tower cascade air stripping system that preliminary modeling indicates may be economically and technically feasible for removing semi-volatile organic chemicals. Also refines and validates the mathematical model and develops procedures for the design and scale-up of the cascade system. Published in 1990.
