The overall objective of this project was to develop, improve, and apply sensitive and robust analytical methods to characterize the occurrence of enteric (Group F) human adenoviruses (ads) in water. In Phase 1 (Project 3177), quantitative real-time RCR assays were developed to detect Group F ads in water.
