The water sector fosters a workforce dedicated to improving, designing, operating, and maintaining critical infrastructure that provides water and sanitation services to communities every day. In recent years, the sector has experienced a digital transformation, incorporating intelligent water systems and digital tools into how utilities, companies, and nonprofit organizations operate. With this transition comes an important need to attract people with data science backgrounds into the sector.
This webcast was an introduction to the intersection of data science, the water sector, and workforce opportunities. Intended for people both in the water sector and those interested in finding a place in the field, this webcast presented:
