Water Reuse: Understanding Public Perception and Participation
$0
Abstract
Water reuse initiatives in the United States have faced significant public opposition in recent years. In this report, a project team of social scientists, engineers, and water utility managers provide guidance to help water professionals communicate with the public about water reuse issues and other controversial issues. The report details a framework of five principles that should underlie all communication, as well as methods to analyze and tailor outreach efforts to a particular community.
