Abstract
This research project utilized smart water network solutions to help water utilities better manage pressures and flows in their water distribution networks, extending piping network longevity and reducing water loss. The research team developed four case studies from utilities using smart water network technologies. A guidance manual provides budget planning level costs and outlines best practices and a step wise approach to planning, design, technology specification and selection, commissioning, and O&M.
