Abstract

Develops a set of UV disinfection guidelines for drinking water that address dose design, reactor design, reliability and redundancy design, monitoring and alarms, field testing before startup, performance monitoring, and engineering reports. Includes protocols to help in implementing the guidelines. Research partner: NWRI. Published by NWRI in 2003 as Ultraviolet Disinfection Guidelines for Drinking Water and Water Reuse, Second Edition.
