Abstract

Recent evidence that aquatic organisms downstream from some WWTPs show endocrine disruption has led to concerns about endocrine disrupting chemicals. This report describes the development of an analytical method for monitoring the concentration of natural and synthetic estrogens in sewage sludge. These methods will be used to investigate the presence and fate of endocrine disruptors in soil and sewage sludges applied to agricultural land. 2003, 32 pages, PDF Only
