Abstract

Held a workshop to expand the available knowledge on occurrence and fate of nitrosamines in the water cycle. Examined the main sources of nitrosamines in the aquatic environment, appropriate actions for reduction of nitrosamine levels in the environment, and what water/wastewater treatment schemes would be beneficial in nitrosamine control. Research partner: GWRC. Workshop completed in 2007. A final report is available to Foundation subscribers.
