This webcast is a workshop discussion for the ongoing project, Holistic Approach to Improved Nutrient Management: Phase 1 (4974), which is focused on practices, policies and partnerships. Panelists will discuss the importance of these three principles in fostering more effective watershed management of nutrients. Panelists will address how watershed managers can use the practices, policies and partnerships framework to better plan nutrient management efforts and diagnose barriers to further progress. The influence of climate change and environmental and social justice considerations will be discussed. Presenters will also set the stage for research to be pursued in a future phase 2 project.
