econdary research for this project focused on identifying new and changing water sector trends that would have implications for water utilities over the next 10 to 20 years. The research looked at issues that would impact utilities over the long term and, where possible, global trends were addressed. The intent was to define trends that would be significant in the water sector over the next 10 years or more.
