This 2008 Global Water Research Coalition (GWRC) report describes an international effort to evaluate the performance of five in vitro bioassays to assess estrogenic activity in a variety of water matrices.
p>The project, "Tools to Detect Estrogenic Activity in Enviromental Waters" (the EDC Toolbox), was jointly funded by the GWRC members Water Research Foundation, UKWIR, WERF, and WSAA, and carried out by a project consortium of CRC WQT, Kiwa, TZW, and WRC.
