Abstract

Critically evaluates treatment, disposal, and beneficial use options for residuals from small water treatment plants, or low volume generators, considering the resource issues (e.g., economic and staffing) unique to these systems. Also identifies regulations that impact residuals management for low volume generators including, but not limited to, the Arsenic Rule. Research partner: USEPA. Published in 2009.
