Abstract

Quantifies the relative contributions of external and internal sources to the trihalomethane-precursor pools of five water supply reservoirs. Identifies, characterizes, and quantifies the sources and sinks of precursors in reservoirs. Also develops and tests a mechanistic model capable of simulating the magnitude and dynamics of the precursor pool in a single productive water supply reservoir. Includes a CD-ROM. Published in 2005.
