WRF PFAS Resources
April 2024
On April 10, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a new legally enforceable drinking water standard for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
The Water Research Foundation (WRF) continues to conduct scientific research on topics such as the presence of PFAS in water resources, the movement of PFAS throughout the environment, PFAS treatment and destruction methods, and PFAS communication strategies. WRF has a variety of resources available to support your efforts to further the understanding of PFAS and communicate with your customers:
- Just Published: Occurrence of PFAS Compounds in US Wastewater Treatment Plants (5031)
- PFAS One Water Risk Communication Messaging for Water Sector Professionals (5124)
- Assessing Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substance Release from Finished Biosolids (5042)
