LIFT SEE IT 2020
In January 2020, SEE IT awarded eight utilities with travel scholarships. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these trips were postponed until it was safe to travel. As visits are completed, trip reports, photos, and videos will be posted below to share findings with the water community.

Staff from the City of El Dorado Wetlands & Water Reclamation Facility traveled to Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.

Staff from DC Water traveled to VCS Denmark to learn more about sustainable operations and cultural drivers, as well as a number of additional technical innovations.

Denver Water (Trip 1)
Staff from Denver Water traveled to Los Angeles, California. They reviewed two large-scale greywater systems and one residential L2L system.

Staff from Loudoun Water traveled to a variety of facilities throughout Florida to learn more about water reuse programs.

Staff from Louisville & Jefferson County MSD traveled to Australia to learn more about Thermal Hydrolysis Pretreatment Technology and side stream treatment.

New York City Department of Environmental Protection (Trip 1)
Staff from New York City Department of Environmental Protection traveled to Aurora and Denver, Colorado and Texas to view UV/Advanced Oxidation, UV/State of the Art Laboratory, and Ozone/Chlorine dioxide technologies.
