Abstract
Explores the potential of several innovative electrotechnologies for the inactivation of Cryptosporidium by means of a third party evaluation process. Conducts four challenge demonstrations of innovative electrotechnologies. Documents power requirements and design considerations for the application of the technology in a range of sizes of water utility operations. Includes cyst seeding studies and inactivation determined by animal infectivity. Research partner: EPRI CEC. Published by EPRI in 1998. Subscribers may order from the Foundation.
